COLLEGE VOLLEYBALL: WAVERLY GRAD ADAMS ESTABLISHES NEW CAREER-HIGHS IN SEVERAL CATEGORIES (2021-09-23)

BUFFALO "” Waverly grad Morgan Adams, a sophomore on the Wells College volleyball team, is playing in her first collegiate season after the Covid-19 pandemic wiped away her freshman season is becoming a bigger factor on the court for the Lady Express as the season progresses.

On Saturday, Adams established new career highs in several categories, while recording a triple-double in a 3-1 win over Cazenovia College in the Bengal Challenge at Buffalo State.

Adams recorded career-highs in service points (13), service aces (three), digs (14) and kills (10), and added one setter assist.

In a 3-1 loss to Buffalo State, Adams narrowly missed another triple-double.

She contributed a team-high 13 service points, two aces,  nine digs, and 11 kills - a new career best, to go along with a career-high three setter assists

In 12 matches this season, Adams has played in 41 sets, and has registered 65 kills and three blocks at outside hitter. She has 85 service points, including 18 service aces, 92 digs, and 10 setter assists.

Wells College, now 3-9, returns to action Saturday when it hosts Medallie.
