ELMIRA - Athens grad Mimi Martin, a junior on the Elmira College volleyball, has season-best totals in digs, and kills, and narrowly missed a triple-double Monday in a five-set loss at Delhi.

Martin logged 13 service points, including four aces, to go along with a season-high 15 digs and nine kills.

On Saturday in a five-set win over Houghton, Martin had a season-best 14 points and eight service aces, to along with 10 digs and six kills.

On the season, Martin has played in 10 of Elmira's 11 matches, and has seen action in 31 sets. She has 65 points, including 28 aces, 79 digs, 36 kills, five setter assists, and two blocks.

Waverly grad Sydney Meyers, a junior, recently established new career-highs in points, kills, and digs for the Lady Soaring Eagles.

On Monday, Meyers matched her career-best with three digs in the loss to Delhi.

On Sept. 21, Meyers had a career-high four points and four kills in a loss to St. John Fisher. Two days later, she had three points and three kills in a win over Hilbert.

On the season, Meyers has played in eight matches and 19 sets. She has 13 points, 12 kills, 14 digs, and one assist.

Elmira College, now 5-6, returns to action tonight at Wells College.
