YOUTH BASKETBALL: RED, BLUE EACH NOTCH TWO WINS IN OPENING WEEK OF WAVERLY REC. LEAGUE (2021-11-30)

WAVERLY "” Red and Blue each picked up a pair of wins in the opening week of the Waverly Rec Basketball League.

RED 30, WHITE 22: Brody Lambert scored a game-high 12 points to lead the Red, while Jeremy Cleveland and Jonathon Montgomery each added eight points.

Braiden Judson led White with 10 points, and Melvin Oglesby added eight.

BLUE 32, ORANGE 29: Griffin Walter pumped in 14 points to lead the Blue, and Brycen Fiske and Maddex Presher added eight points apiece.

Drew Croft poured in 20 points, and Cooper Skovira added eight points for Orange.

RED 30, ORANGE 20:  Jeremy Cleveland scored 18 points to lead the Red, and Jonathon Montgomery added 8. Jack Pipher had 10 points to lead the Orange.

BLUE 24, WHITE 18:  Griffin Walter scored 10 points, and Connor Bentley added eight to lead the Blue. Braiden Judson scored 11 to pace the White.
