THE VALLEY — Wrestling takes center stage, with all four Valley teams in action at tournaments, including Waverly hosting the first annual Jim McCloe Memorial Tournament.

WRESTLING
Waverly HOSTS Jim Memorial Tournament, 9:30 a.m.: Waverly hosts an eight-team tournament, and will compete in Pool A with Maine-Endwell, Union-Endicott, and Oxford-Greene.

Pool B is comprised of Corning, Vestal, Whitney Point, and Middletown.

Tioga at Bradshaw Invitational, 9 a.m. @ Canandaigua Academy: The Tigers advanced 13 wrestlers into this morning’s quarterfinals. Their other four wrestlers are alive in the consolation bracket.

Athens at New Oxford Tournament, 9 a.m.: Seniors Gavin Bradley, Kaden Setzer, and Karter Rude advanced to the semifinals Friday, while sophomore Josh NIttinger and freshman Caleb Nason are alive in the wrestlebacks.

Sayre at The Border Battle, 9 a.m. @ Williamson H.S.
