IAC JV GIRLS BASKETBALL: UNION SPRINGS THUMPS TIOGA, 47-12 (2022-01-16)

TIOGA CENTER — Union Springs held Tioga to one first-half field goal, and raced out to a big lead on its way to a 47-12 win here Friday night in IAC Small School junior varsity girls crossover basketball action.

The junior Wolves outscored Tioga 14-3 in the first quarter, and 12-0 in the second quarter to take a 26-3 lead into the intermission.

The Tigers’ only field goal of the first half was a 3-pointer by Taliah Speer.

Union Springs outscored the Lady Tigers, 21-9, in the second quarter.

Speer led Tioga with eight points, including two 3-pointers.
