YOUTH BASKETBALL: TIOGA'S FOLEY ADVANCES TO STATE FINALS OF KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS FREE THROW CHAMPIONSHIPS (2022-03-28)

SYRACUSE — Tioga’s Raegen Foley won the Girls 13-year-old Division at the Knights of Columbus Upstate Conference Free Throw Championships here Saturday at Bishop Ludden High School to advance to the New York State Championships in late April.

Foley is just the third shooter from the Tioga County Blessed Trinity Council 251 Knights of Columbus to advance to the State finals, joining Athens' Kayleigh Miller in 2013 (age 12, state runner-up) and Rome's Lauryn Jones in 2017 (age13, state runner-up).

Foley bested her regional ​performance by four, knocking down 18 of 25 free throws to claim the girls age-13 group.
