SECTION IV FOOTBALL: WAVERLY, TIOGA 2022 SCHEDULES RELEASED (2022-04-18)

THE VALLEY — The 2022 football season is still 4 1/2 months away, but the Section IV schedules are out. Waverly TIoga each have eight regular-season games currently on their schedules, but each have one open date and could add a ninth.

The Wolverines are coming off a 10-1 season, which ended with a loss to powerhouse Chenango Forks in the Section IV, Class championship game. They will open the ’22 season hosting Section IX’s Chester, which is coming off a 7-3 season.

The Tigers, coming off a 12-0 season and the program’s second state title in five years, will play their first three games on the road this fall, with four of its final five games at Haggerty Field.

Waverly currently has an open date in Week 3, while Tioga has open date in Week Zero.
