THE VALLEY — Three of the four events on Tuesday’s schedule are here in the Valley, with the Sayre baseball and softball teams hosting Troy, and the Waverly tennis team hosting Southern Cayuga.

BASEBALL
Troy (6-1) at Sayre (17-2), 4:30 p.m.: The Redskins are coming off a 15-3 win over Athens, while the Trojans dropped a 9-1 decision to Hughesville Friday.

Sayre is the second seed in the Class AA power points rankings, which determines the seeds in the upcoming District 4 playoffs. Sayre (.699785) trails Wyalusing (.703604) by percentage points for the top seed.

SOFTBALL
Troy (5-10) at Sayre (0-16), 4:30 p.m.: The Lady Redskins are coming off losses to Waverly (9-6) and Tioga (12-2) Saturday in the “Battle at the Border,” while the Lady Trojans edged Towanda, 6-4.

TENNIS
Southern Cayuga at Waverly, 4:30 p.m.:
