Valley Sports ReportTHE VALLEY — The Tioga softball team plays for a berth in the Section IV, Class C title game, while the Waverly girls and Tioga boys golf teams vie for a chance to play in the state championships.

Class C Semifinals
7-Tioga (14-5) at 3-Notre Dame (17-4), 4:30 p.m.: The Lady Tigers are coming off a 6-2 win over second-seeded Union Springs, avenging a 6-0 loss two weeks prior in the IAC Small School championship game, while the Lady Crusaders topped sixth-seeded, 8-5.
Notre Dame is riding a 10-game win streak, dating back to a 7-2 loss to Horseheads on April 30.
Tioga has won three in a row on the heels of a four-game losing streak that including a 15-3 loss at Notre Dame on May 10.
GIRLS GOLF
Waverly at Section IV Championships at Soaring Eagles: The top nine individual finishers, and the top team advance to the State championships.
BOYS GOLF
Section IV, Class C Team Championships @ SUNY Delhi Course: The Tigers, led by sophomores Tyler Roe and Evan Sickler, play for the Class C title.
