BAINBRIDGE — Tioga scored on all six of its first-half possessions, and led 41-0 at the half en route to a 55-6 win over Bainbridge-Guilford here Friday night in Section IV, Division V football action.

The Tigers, ranked No. 1 in the state in Class D, piled up 480 yards in total offense, including 344 rushing yards on 32 carries (10.8 yards per carry, while limiting B-G to 116 yards in total offense, including 71 rushing yards on 30 carries.

Tioga scored on its first possession on a 15-yard TD from junior QB Caden Bellis to junior wideout Valentino Rossi — the first of his three TDs before the intermission. Junior Gavin Fisher’s PAT kick made it 7-0.

Tioga next possession resulted in a quick score when Caden Bellis broke loose on a 52-yard scoring run. Fisher’s PAT kick made it 14-0 less than five minutes into the game.

Before the opening stanza was over, the Tigers would make it 28-0 on a 14-yard TD run by junior Drew Macumber, and a 35-yard TD run by junior Ousmane Duncanson.

Tioga kept rolling in the second quarter with Rossi hauling in a 21-yard TD reception from Caden Bellis, and then breaking loose on a 45-yard TD run.

In the first half, both teams had 16 rushing attempts, with Tioga piling up 244 yards, while B-G had 18. Tioga also had an edge through the air, with 99 yards to B-G’s 15.

Tioga tacked on a pair of TDs in the second half — an 8-yard TD run by freshman Logan Bellis , and a 14-yard TD scamper by sophomore Shea Bailey.

Fisher connected on 7 of 8 extra-point attempts in the contest.

Macumber led a balanced Tioga rushing attack with 67 yards and one TD on five carries, while Caden Bellis had 66 yards and one TD  on just four carries, Logan Bellis had 58 yards and one TD on seven carries, and Bailey added 28 yards and one TD on three carries.

Caden Bellis completed 5 of 8 passes for 99 yards and two TDs, and Bailey was 2-for-2 for 37 yards.

Rossi led Tioga with two receptions for 36 yards and two TDs, while junior Gianni Silvestri added one catch for 40 yards, Lucas Nichols had one catch for 28 yards, and Macumber added one catch for 15 yards.

Tioga, now 4-0, will play its home opener at Haggerty Field Friday when it hosts Walton.
