WAVERLY — The Tioga boys rolled to a sweep of under-manned Groton here Tuesday afternoon, while the Lady Tigers split with Groton, losing the total-pinfall count by 1 pin, in IAC Small School bowling action at the Valley Bowling Center.

GIRLS
Tioga 2, Groton 2

Tioga won the first two games by a combined 35 points, but Groton closed the match with a 36-pin win to claim the total-pinfall points, 1,897 to 1,896.

Junior Chloe Gillette led the Lady Tigers with a 409 series, while senior Caroline Chapman had a 403, and Jamie Card had a 371.

Senior BobbiJo Tarbox had a 358 for Tioga, while sophomore Allie Creller added a 351, and freshman Kelsey Helmich tacked on a 308.

Emily Carigan led Groton with a 469, and Lacie Hilker added a 459.

Tioga is now 16-8 on the season.

BOYS
Tioga 4, Groton 0

Senior Frank Chapman banged out a 696 series on games of 249, 245, and 202 to lead the Tigers to a sweep.

The Tigers rolled a 2,577 series, while the four-man Groton team had a 1,401.

Senior Gage Cain shot a 540 for Tioga, while senior Brad Webb had a 523, freshman Nick Slater added a 511, and Kameron Joyce tacked on a 307.

Mike Brehm led Groton with a 421.

Tioga improves to 17-7 on the season.

The Tigers host SVEC Thursday.
