IAC BOWLING: TIOGA BOYS SWEEP EDISON, LADY TIGERS PICK UP FOUR POINTS VIA FORFEIT (2023-01-10)

WAVERLY — Seniors Frank Chapman and Brad Webb each rolled 600 series to lead Tioga to a sweep of short-handed Edison, while the Lady Tigers picked up four points via a forfeit here Tuesday afternoon in IAC bowling action at the Valley Bowling Center.

BOYS
Tioga 4, Edison 0

Chapman rolled a 635 series on games of 194, 279, and 162, while Webb shot a 607 on games of 234, 191, and 182 to lead the Tigers to a 2,692 to 2,391 total- pinfall victory over the four-man Spartan team.

Senior Gag Cain shot a 521, including a 205, freshman Nick Slater had a 489, Nate Hulbert added a 440, and Kam Joyce tacked on a 258.

Logan Card led Edison with a 631, and Zack Crown rolled a 619.

The Tigers improve to 21-11 on the season.

GIRLS
Tioga 4, Edison 0

Allie Creller led Tioga’s effort Tuesday, rolling a 423 series, while Sam Shirley shot a 369, and Alicia Bennett had a 360.

Jamie Card rolled a 358 for the Lady Tigers, while Katie Bleiler added a 310, and Sabrina Ellis tacked on a 306.

Bowling in reserve, Chloe Gillett had a 495 for Tioga, and BobbiJo Tarbox had a 406.

The Lady Tigers are now 24-8 on the season.

Tioga returns to action Thursday when it hosts Groton at the Valley Bowling Center.
