WOMN'S COLLEGE TRACK & FIELD: WAVERLY GRAD UHL EARNS POSTSEASON PLACE-FINISHES FOR CORTLAND (2019-03-06)

CORTLAND - Waverly grad Kaylee Uhl, a senior on the Cortland women's indoor track & field team, earned a pair of place-finishes recently at the SUNYAC Indoor Track & Field Championships, then one at Regionals.

Uhl was part of the silver-medal winning 1,600-meter relay team that closed in at a time of 3:57.94.

Uhl also finished seventh in the 400-meter run in a time of 1:00.47. She also ran a time of 59.96 in the preliminaries.

Cortland finished fourth in the nine-team field.

Uhl's 1,600-meter relay team went on to finish third in a season-best time of 3:57.57 at the All-Atlantic Region Track & Field Championship at Ithaca College over the weekend.

Uhl and her running mates on the 1,600-meter relay - Shannon Imbornoni (Bethpage, N.Y.), Jesse Corral (Staten Island), and Steffany Batista (Spring Valley, N.Y.) earned All-Atlantic Region honors from the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) for the 2019 indoor season.
