CORTLAND - The Tioga bowling teams both picked up sweeps against incomplete Marathon squads here Tuesday afternoon in IAC bowling action at Cort-Lanes.
BOYS
Tioga 4, Marathon 0
Sophomore Kolton Pond and senior Jason Sherman both rolled 600 series to lead Tioga to a sweep of short-handed Marathon.Pond rolled a 649 series on games of 247, 197, and 205, while Jason Sherman shot a 615 on games of 196, 206, and 213.
Senior Mason Trollman had a 537 for the Tigers, while senior A.J. Middendorf had a 490, senior Eric Sherman added a 450, and freshman Dylan Slater tacked on a 448.
Freshman Rocco Fariello added a 454 in reserve for Tioga.
GIRLS
Tioga 4, Marathon 0
Mackenzie Robinson paced the Lady Tigers in a sweep of the short-handed Lady Olympians.Robinson shot a 426, while senior SueAnn Grantham rolled a 385, and junior Bailey Elston had a 368.
Junior Mackenzie Macumber had a 353 the Lady Tigers, while sophomore Mille Grantham added a 332, and sophomore Destini Sweet tacked on a 324.
Sophomore Mary Taylor rolled a 367 in reserve for Tioga.
Tioga returns to action Thursday when it hosts Groton.
