Valley Sports ReportTHE VALLEY - The only two games on Thursday's dockets are on the volleyball hardwoods, with Waverly and Tioga hosting IAC divisional foes.
Waverly's boys soccer game, scheduled for this evening at O-M, has been postponed and re-scheduled for April 15.
VOLLEYBALL
Candor (6-0) at Tioga (4-1), 5:30 p.m. JV start: The Lady Tigers are coming off a sweep at Newfield Tuesday, while the Lady Indians swept S-VE for their 41st straight win.
After a season-opening loss to unbeaten Candor, Tioga has beaten Newfield twice, S-VE, and O-M, while Candor has two wins over Newfield, two wins over S-VE, a win over O-M, and a win over Class AA Horseheads.
Watkins Glen (0-6) at Waverly (2-4), 5:30 pm. JV start: The Lady Wolverines are coming off a hard-fought, 3-0, loss to unbeaten Newark Valley Tuesday, while the Lady Senecas were swept at Thomas A. Edison.
Waverly swept Watkins Glen at home in the season-opener, then won 3-1 at Watkins Glen one week later.
