Valley Sports ReportOSWEGO "" Waverly grad Zoe Mennig, a sophomore on the Oswego State softball team, had multi-hit games in both ends of a doubleheader against SUNY Brockport here Saturday afternoon in SUNYAC softball action.
Mennig, batting third as the DH, singled twice and scored one run in a 5-2 loss in the opener.
In the nightcap, Mennig, batting fourth and playing catcher, had four hits, including a double, scored two runs, and drove in two runs in a 9-3 win.
She has three multi-hit games, and has hit safely in five of Oswego State's six games.
On the season, Mennig is hitting .611, with 11 hits, including three doubles, in 18 at-bats. She has six RBI, four runs scored, and one stolen base.
Oswego State, now 2-4, returns to action Thursday in doubleheader at Buffalo State.
