Valley Sports Report TROY - A trio of Johnny D pitchers combined on a one-hitter, and offense scored runs early and often in a 12-0 win over Troy-1 here Thursday in Sayre Little league Majors Division baseball action.
Brendan Cooke started for Johnny D's, allowing one hit and striking out two in one innings of work.
Brady Flynn earned the win with two innings of relief, striking out five and walking two, and Jordan Brown struck out one in a perfect inning of relief.
Brown had three hits, including a double, scored three runs, and collected three RBI, and Cooke had three hits, including a double, and three runs scored to pace Johnny D's 11-hit attack.
Flynn singled twice, scored twice and drove in one run in the win, while Riley McGaughey singled twice and had two RBI, Justin Koenig singled, scored two runs, and knocked in one run, and Nolan Raupers scored two runs, and drove in two runs.
Johnny's D's improves to 7-3 on the season.
