Valley Sports ReportATHENS "" Beginning Friday, Athens will host the Section 3 Little League Majors Division baseball playoffs.
District 15 champion Athens hosts District 12 Hepburn-Lycoming Friday at 8 p.m. in the nightcap of an opening-round doubleheader.
District 13 champion Berwick squares off against District 24 Tri-Valley in the opening game of the double-elimination tournament at 5 p.m.
The losers of the opening-round games will square off in the first elimination game Saturday at 2 p.m., while the winners will play at 4:30 p.m. for a berth in the championship game.
