"The past few years (Groton) has beat us via double digits and have gone on to win the IAC Small School championship," said Tioga coach Jim Walsh.
"That said, they stuffed us offensively, we could not generate any solid offense with our forwards and midfielder Sophia Haney was held scoreless for the first time this season," added Walsh.
Tioga, now 0-2-1, returns to action Friday when it hosts Newfield.
