Valley Sports ReportMARATHON - Tioga took the early lead, but Marathon rallied for a 2-1 win here Tuesday afternoon in Section IV field hockey action.
The Lady Tigers got their first goal of the season off the stick of Emily Sindoni to take a 1-0 lead. Mackenzie Williams was credited with an assist.
"I'm so happy to see the team really taking advantage of their strengths and setting goals they can accomplish," said Tioga coach Jodi Riggs.
Tioga, now 0-4, returns to action Wednesday night at Owego Free Aademy.
