THE VALLEY "" Waverly opens the Section IV, Class C volleyball playoffs tonight at Dryden in the only game on the docket.

The Lady Wolverines, 7-9, are the ninth seed, while the Lady Purple Lions, 8-7, are the eighth seed.

Waverly is coming off back-to-back wins over Watkins Glen to end the regular season, while Dryden swept Whitney Point in regular-season finale.

The Waverly-Dryden will travel to face top-seeded Lansing (17-1) Tuesday.
