WAVERLY - The Tioga boys posted a sweep of short-handed O-M in IAC bowling action Tuesday afternoon at the Valley Bowling Center, while the Lady Indians battled to a tightly-contested 2-2 draw.
BOYS
Tioga 4, O-M 0
Senior Dylan Slater banged out a 690 series on games of 211, 264, and 215 to lead the Tigers in a sweep of O-M
Tioga rolled a 2,963 series, while O-M, with just three bowlers, shot a 1,056.
Junior Gage Cain rolled a 586, including games of 212 and 234 to start the day, for Tioga, while 8th-grader Nick Slater shot a 578, including a 223 in the first game, and senior Rocco Fariello had a 558, including games of 210 and 209.
Junior Frank Chapman added a 526 series, including a 201 in the third game, for the Tigers, and junior Bradley Webb tacked on a 469.
Auston Hoyt led O-M with a 471.
GIRLS
Tioga 2, O-M 2
Tioga won the first game 773-692, but O-M answered with wins of 714-645 and 720-712. However, the Lady Tigers held on for a 2,130 to 2,126 total-pinfall victory to earn the split.
Junior Caroline Chapman led Tioga with a 485 series, while junior Jamie Card rolled a 443, and senior Rachel Feeko had a 429.
Sophomore Chloe Gillett shot a 400 for the Lady Tigers, while sophomore Allie Creller aded a 366, and junior BobbiJo Tarbox chipped in with a 364.
Sarah Barr led O-M with a 531, and Courtney Davis added a 502.
Tioga travels to Groton Thursday.
