WAVERLY - The Tioga boys and girls bowling teams picked up their second sweeps in a row — this time over incomplete Marathon teams in IAC bowling action Tuesday at the Valley Bowling Center.
On Thursday, the Tigers swept short-handed Thomas A. Edison teams.
BOYS
Tioga 4, Marathon 0
Tioga breezed to a sweep of Marathon, which field just two bowlers, winning the total-pinfall 2,704 to 707.
Senior Dylan Slater led the Tigers with a 642 series on games of 204 205, and 233, while junior Gage Cain shot a 548, including a 205 i the third game.
Junior Bradley Webb shot a 518 for Tioga, while senior Rocco Fariello had a 510, 8th-grader Nick Slater added a 464, and junior Frank Chapman tacked on a 442.
GIRLS
Tioga 4, Marathon 0
The Lady Tigers swept the short-handed Lady Olympians, which had just three bowlers, by a total-pinfall count of 1,851 to 1,288.
Sophomore Chloe Gillett led Tioga with a 467 series, while junior Jamie Card shot a 393, junior BobbiJo Tarbox added a 391, and Alicia Bennett tacked on a 309.

Tioga 4, Edison 0
Tioga topped Edison, which had just four bowlers, by a total-pinfall count of 2,850 to 2,012.
Dylan Slater led the Tigers with a 639 series, which included a 269 in the second game, and senior Rocco Fariello shot a 634, including a 244 in the first game.
Nick Slater rolled a 529 in the sweep, while Brad Webb had a 510, including a 236 in the first game, Gage Cain added a 499, and Frank Chapman tacked on a 472.
GIRLS
Tioga 4, Edison 0
The Lady Tioga swept Edison, which had just three bowlers, total-pinfall count of 2,012 to 905.
Chloe Gillett led Tioga with a 479 series, while Caroline Chapman rolled a 425, BobbiJo Tarbox had a 415, senior Rachel Feeko added a 348, and Jamie Card chipped in with a 345.
