Valley Sports ReportELMIRA - Athens grad J.J. Babcock, a freshman on the Elmira College men’s basketball team, scored his first collegiate points in his first action of the season Tuesday night in the Soaring Eagles’ 95-93 overtime win over Hilbert College.
Babcock scored two points, on 1 of 2 shooting from the field, and also had two blocked shots, and one rebound in 14 minutes of action.
Elmira, now 1-4, hosts Wells College Tuesday.
