COLLEGE SOFTBALL: ATHENS GRAD SULLIVAN HAS FIVE MULTI-HIT GAMES IN NINE STARTS AT KING'S COLLEGE (2023-03-19)

WILKES-BARRE, Pa. — Athens grad Harley Sullivan, a sophomore on the King’s College softball team, has three multi-hit games in her last four starts, and is hitting over .500 on the season.

In the first game of a twinbill Saturday, Sullivan was 2-for-2 with a run scored, and one RBI in a 7-4 win over Stevens College. She was 0-for-4 in a 3-2 eight-inning loss in the nightcap.

On March 8, Sullivan had the best game of her career. She was 4-for-5 with a triple and a double, two runs scored, and two RBI in King’s 15-5 win over Rosemont.

On March 7, Sullivan was 2-for-4 in a 7-4 loss to Kean University.

On the season, Sullivan is hitting .516 (16 hits in 31 at-bats), and has five multi-hit games in nine starts. She has three doubles, one triple, seven RBI, and 10 runs scored.

Defensively at catcher, Sullivan has just two errors in 56 defensive chances (.964 fielding percentage. She has thrown out one base stealer, and allowed just one passed ball.

King’s College, now 6-4, returns to action March 26 when it hosts Stockton University in a doubleheader.
