Valley Sports ReportELMIRA — Athens grad Asher Ellis, a junior on the Elmira College men’s soccer team, has started both games in net for the Soaring Eagles, who are 1-1 to start the season.
Ellis recorded two saves in Elmira’s season-opening, 5-2, win over Morrisville State on Friday.
On Sunday, Ellis had two saves in Elmira’s 2-1 loss to SUNY Brockport.
Elmira College returns to action Wednesday when it hosts SUNY Delhi.
