TIOGA CENTER — Tioga cruised to its third straight win, sweeping Watkins Glen here Monday night in IAC Large School volleyball action.
The Lady Tigers, now 3-2, won by scores of 25-11, 25-15, and 25-13.
Sophomore RaeAnn Feeko led Tioga with 15 service points, 15 setter assists, eight digs, and two kills, while senior Emily Bidwell had 11 points and two kills, senior Lily Mesler had seven points, six digs, and three assists, and junior Christina Earley add seven points.
Freshman Audi Zorn had five points, four kills, and two digs, while senior Layni Whitmore had three points and four kills, junior Kali Bailey registered five kills and eight digs, senior Joslyn Maciak had three kills, five assists, and two digs, senior Megan Vance added four kills, and sophomore Lydiah Decker chipped in with eight digs.
Tioga returns to action Wednesday at Edison.
JV: TIoga breezed to a sweep of Watkins Glen to improve to 5-0 on the season, winning by scores of 25-6, and 25-15.
Sadie Marshall led Tioga with nine points, including three aces, while Vanessa Tunnicliff had eight points (three aces), two kills, and one block, and Mary Divers had eight points, including five aces, two kills, and seven assists.
Alyson Chamberlain had seven points, including four aces, four assists, two kills, and three digs in the win, while Lilly Mezzatesta added seven points (three aces), and Lindsey Jeffreys chipped in with one block.
