IAC CROSS COUNTRY: WOOD, DELMAGE PACE TIOGA'S EFFORTS AT TRI-MEET (6 PHOTOS) (2023-09-26)

NEWARK VALLEY - Juniors Talon Wood and Brooke Delmage paced Tioga’s efforts at the three-team IAC cross-country meet here Tuesday afternoon.

Both Tioga teams were incomplete, and did not factor in the team competition. The Tioga modified girls placed second, and the boys team was also incomplete.

BOYS
Wood finished third in the girls of 17 runners, clocking in with a time of 17:10, while senior Casey Herrala was 13th in 23:04.

Modified Boys
Walt Burrowes, Tioga’s only runner, won the modified boys race in a time of 8:38.1.

GIRLS
Delmage finished eighth to pace the Lady Tigers, clocking in at 23:34, while freshmen Kendall Ward (29:54), and Lacy Ward (30:14) finished 16th and 17th, respectively.

Iris Lynch placed second in the modified girls race in a time of 9:02, while Maddie Burrowes was fifth in 9:59.4.

Bailey Delmage finished ninth for Tioga in a time of 10:25.6, while Reese Mills (11:08.1) and Maren Seaver (11:08.5) placed 12th and 13th, respectively, and Brooklin Lynch was 15th in 11:45.6.
