Valley Sports ReportTROY — Troy won the first two sets handily, then fought off Athens in the third set to complete the sweep here Tuesday night in NTL volleyball action at the Commons Building.
The Lady Trojans won by scores of 25-14, 25-16, and 29-27.
Freshman Hannah Parrish led Athens with eight setter assists, five digs, and four service aces, while junior Sydney Field had 11 assists, junior Kassie Babcock registered seven kills, and junior Keaton Wiles had six kills, and one block.
Junior Anna Geisinger added two kills and two digs, and senior Emma Renninger recorded three digs.
Athens, now 3-5, hosts North Penn-Liberty Thursday.
