Valley Sports ReportTHE VALLEY - The only event on Wednesday’s docket has Waverly in action at the Section IV, Class B girls swimming preliminaries at Maine-Endwell High School.
The top 16 in each individual event, and the top eight in each relay will advance to Saturday’s Class B Championships.
Sophomore Mira Kittle has already qualified for States in the 50-yard freestyle, and the 100-yard backstroke, and is part of the 200-yard freestyle relay — along with sophomore Olivia Cheresnowsky, 8th-grader Lauryn Welles, and 7th-grader Megan Atanasoff — that will compete at States.
The meet begins at 5 p.m.
