THE VALLEY — Just two games on the docket this week after both Tioga and Waverly advanced to the New York State football semifinals.
The two-time defending Class D champion Tigers (12-0) will square off with Section VI champion Clymer-Sherman-Panama (11-0) Friday at 3 p.m. at Cicero-North Syracuse High School. Tioga and CSP are ranked 1 and 2 in the state.
On Saturday, the Wolverines (11-1) will face Section VI champ Salamanca (10-2) at noon at Cicero-North Syracuse High School. Waverly is ranked second in the state, and Salamanca is fifth.
