Valley Sports ReportABBOTTSTOWN, Pa. - Waverly grad Alex Tomasso, a grad student on the St. John Fisher’s women’s golf team, won the rain-shortened McDaniel Spring Invitational here Sunday at the The Bridges Golf Club.
Tomasso shot a 10-over 82 to win the tournament by four strokes over Franklin & Marshall’s Reilly Melvin.
The tournament was originally slated for 36 holes, but Saturday’s round was rained out.
St. John Fisher returns to action April 13-14 at the Cortland Martin / Wallace Invitational.
