Valley Sports ReportWATKINS GLEN - Junior Breanne Robinson had the second-best round of the day to help Waverly to a pair of wins here Monday afternoon in a four-team Section IV girls golf match at Watkins Glen Golf Course.
Ava Fairbrother earned low-medal honors with a round of 47 to lead Horseheads, which was 3-0 with a four-player aggregate of 207. Waverly shot a 221, while SVEC 232, and Watkins Glen carded a 248. Notre Dame was incomplete.
Robinson shot a 50 on the par-36 Watkins Glen course, while junior Lauryn DeLill had a 55, and sophomore Addison Hunt, and junior Maddie Farnham each added rounds of 58.
Sophomore Sophia Sileo, and senior Natalie Lauper each carded non-scoring rounds of 61 for the Wolverines.
Emily Melveney led Watkins Glen with a 51 while Lauren Gillette led SVEC with a 57, and Emma Steed led Notre Dame with a 57.
Waverly returns to action Wednesday at Hillendale Golf against Watkins Glen, and Lansing
