TOWANDA — Sophomore Glenn VanBenthuysen finished eighth as Sayre’s lone entry in a NTL cross country tri-meet against Towanda and Sullivan County.

VanBenthuysen clocked in at 21:44.

Towanda’s Jack Tavani (19:29) and Jacob Carr (19:30) led a top-five sweep for Towanda.

Sayre’s Peter Menio led Sayre with a 23rd-place finish in a time of 18:36 in the junior high race.

Jadyn Sinsabaugh finished 24th for the Redskins in a time of 19:20, while Aaron Benson was 26th in 22:09, and Lucas Sloat was 27th in 22:17.
