NTL VOLLEYBALL: TROY SWEEPS PAST SAYRE (2024-10-08)

SAYRE — Large School-leading Troy rolled to a sweep of Sayre here Tuesday night in NTL volleyball action.

The Trojans, tied atop their division standings with Wellsboro, won by scores of 25-9, 25-17, and 25-15.

Junior Rylee Lantz led Sayre with six setter assists, four kills, five blocks, and two digs, while freshman Reghan McGaughey had two service aces, three kills, six digs, and 10 serve-receives, and senior Raegan Parrish had eight digs and 12 serve-receives.

Senior Abbie McGaughey had two blocks, three digs, and seven receives for the Redskins, while senior Morgan Felt had seven digs and five receives, freshman Grace Russo recorded 10 digs, senior Mazlin VanDuzer added five digs, and freshman Yeleena Doon chipped in with two digs.

Sayre won the junior varsity match by scores of 25-17 and 25-23.

Sayre returns to action Thursday at Towanda.
