Valley Sports ReportTHE VALLEY — The District 4 Cross Country Championships take center stage Thursday morning, while a trio of home volleyball matches will share the spotlight at night.
CROSS COUNTRY
Athens, Sayre at District 4 Championships, 10:15 a.m. @ Bloomsbury Univ.: Athens runners will compete in the Class AA Championship, while Sayre's will run in the Class A event.
Athens senior Sara Bronson, and sophomore Graham Wanck will both be looking to punch a return ticket to the PIAA Championships.

Whitney Point (12-1) at Tioga (10-3), 5:30 p.m. JV start
Williamson (11-4) at Athens (4-10), 6 p.m. JV start
Wyalusing (6-12) at Sayre (0-18), 6 p.m. JV start
