WYALUSING — Wyalusing turned up the defensive pressure, and cruised to a 63-21 win over Sayre here Monday night in NTL girls basketball action.
The Rams converted turnovers into easy buckets, jumping out to a 24-6 lead after the first eight minutes, and extending the lead to 46-9 at the half.
Kenna Parrish led Sayre with seven points, including a 3-pointer, while Liz Hunter had six points, including a 3-pointer, six steals, and two assists, Rylee Lantz had four rebounds, two blocked shots, and five steals and Abbie McGaughey added four points and five boards. Reaghan McGaughey grabbed four boards.
Chloe Bennett led three Wyalusing scorers in double-figures with 12 points, while Rachel Wilson and Treanna Nickerson each scored 10 points.
