WATKINS GLEN — Charles Holmes and Nick Slater led a balanced Tioga boys line-up in a sweep of Odessa-Montour here Friday afternoon, while the Lady Tigers swept a short-handed O-M in IAC bowling action at Harborside Lanes.
BOYS
Tioga 4, O-M 0
Holmes rolled a career-high 586 series, including a 226 in the second game, and Slater rolled a 582, including a 206 in the second game, to pace the Tigers in the sweep.
The Tigers won the first game 799-742, and followed it up with wins of 846-647, and 873-636 for a total-pinfall victory of 2,518 to 2,025.
Austin Mumbulo shot a 482 for the Tigers, while Garrett Godfrey added a 458, and James Luther tacked on a 410.
Brayden Seamen led O-M with a 549.
GIRLS
Tioga 4, O-M
Tioga posted a total-pinfall victory of 1,816 to 1,100 over O-M, which had just three bowlers.
Kelsey Helmich led Tioga with a 467 series, while Selena LaFritz had a 415, and Katie Bleiler added a 368.
Abbey Grady led O-M with a 396.
Tioga returns to action Tuesday when it hosts Watkins Glen at the Valley Bowling Center.
