SECTION IV INDOOR TRACK & FIELD: LARRABEE, MINAKER PACE WAVERLY'S EFFORTS AT WINTER CLASSIC (2025-01-13)

ITHACA — Junior Haley Larrabee had the best finish of the day for the Wolverines, and senior Harper Minaker had a pair of top-six finishes here Saturday at the Section IV Winter Indoor Track & Field Classic.

GIRLS
Larrabee finished third in the 400-meter dash in a time of 1:05.7. She also placed seventh in the 200-meter dash in a time of 29.37 seconds.

Senior Harper Minaker placed fourth in the 800-meter run in a time of 2:47.2. She finished sixth in the 1,500-meter run in a time of 5:42.03.

Sophomore Taylor Sinsabaugh finished 11th in the 3,000-meter run in a time of 14:16.95.

Senior Kendal Shaffer finished 21st in the 55-meter dash in a time of 8.78 seconds, and freshman Tressa Allen was 23rd in 8.86 seconds.

BOYS
Sophomore Chase Hine had the best finish of the day for the Waverly boys, placing sixth in the 3,200-meter run in a time of 11:21.21.

Freshman Jaxon Chandler was eighth in the 55-meter hurdles in a time of 10.3 seconds. Chandler was 15th in the high jump at 4-feet, 10-inches, and freshman Hayden Roskow was 19th at 4-feet, 8-inches.

Junior Logan Roskow finished 12th in the 1,600-meter run in a time of 5:25.33, and sophomore Jayden Washington was 19th in a time of 5:34.1.

Senior Nic Mattison finished 13th in the 800-meter run in a time of 2:14.16, and junior Hayden Howe was 19th in 2:19.46.

Freshman Connor Bentley finished 16th in the long jump with a leap of 14-feet, 1 1/4-inches.

Junior Mac Talada finished 18th in the shot put with a heave of 30-feet, 8 1/2-inches.
