WAVERLY — Seton Catholic led early, but Waverly dominated the majority of the game on its way to a 64-34 win here Wednesday night in STAC Central Division girls basketball action.
The first time these two teams met Waverly completely dominated in a 72-14 rout, but Seton Catholic started quickly Wednesday with a pair of 3-pointers early, and led 13-11 after the first eight minutes.
The next two quarters were all Waverly.
Addison Westbrook pumped in 10 points, including a pair 3-pointers, and junior Kaitlyn Sutton added nine points, including a trey, to fuel a 21-3 blitz that gave the Wolverines a 32-16 lead at the half.
It was more of the same in the quarter as sophomore Ryleigh Judson canned a pair of 3-pointers and scored 10 points, and Westbrook added five points in a 22-5 run that extended the Wolverine lead to 54-21 entering the final eight minutes.
Judson, who had a trio of 3-pointers, and Westbrook led Waverly with 15 points apiece, while Sutton scored 11 points, freshman Kaylin Twedt added eight points, and sophomore Emma Richards-Randall chipped in with five points.
Waverly, now 11-0, hosts Hilton Sunday afternoon.
