THE VALLEY — Basketball dominates the week's schedule as the regular season winds to a conclusion. The week ends with the start of the Section IV individual wrestling championships with Qualifiers at Oneonta and Unadilla Valley.

There are 29 events on the docket this week, including seven on Tuesday and six on Thursday.

The following are all of the home varsity events this week, and a few of the notable road events:

MONDAY (2)
•  Waverly hosts STAC rival Chenango Forks at the Valley Bowling Center.

•  Sayre hosts Northeast Bradford in an NTL Small School girls hoop match-up.

TUESDAY (7)
•  Athens hosts North Penn-Mansfield in an NTL Large School girls basketball contest.

•  Tioga hosts O-M on the hardwoods at the Valley Bowling Center.

•  Waverly will host Elmira in a STAC crossover bowling match.

•  Waverly hosts Chenango Valley in a STAC boys swim meet.

WEDNESDAY (5)

•  Waverly hosts Chenango Forks in a key STAC girls basketball match-up.

•  Sayre hosts Cowanesque Valley in NTL Small School boys basketball action.

•  Waverly is on the road in a key STAC bowling match against Owego at the Owego Bowl.

•  Tioga hosts Union Springs / Port Byron on the hardwoods at the Valley Bowling Center.

THURSDAY (6)
•  Tioga hits the road to take on S-VE in an IAC South Small School boys hoops match-up.

•  The Athens girls host NTL Large School Division basketball leader Troy.

•  The Athens swimmers wrap up the dual season against Bloomsburg.

•  The Tioga bowlers host Groton on the hardwoods at the VBC.

FRIDAY (3)
•  Athens hosts division-leading Troy in an NTL Large School boys basketball match-up.

•  Tioga hosts Union Springs in an IAC crossover boys basketball contest.

•  Sayre hosts NEB in an NTL Small School contest.

SATURDAY (5)
•  Tioga wrestlers are in action at the Section IV Qualifier at Oneonta High School.

•  Waverly wrestlers are in action at the Section IV Qualifier at Unadilla Valley Middle School.

•  Waverly hosts Owego in a JV / varsity girls and boys basketball doubleheader. Girls JV game at noon, boys JV game at 3:30 p.m.

•  Athens hosts Mount Carmel in a non-league basketball contest.

•  Tioga will be in action at the IAC Bowling Championships at Waverly's Valley Bowling Center.
