THE VALLEY — The winter storm that swept through the region early this morning with a bit of snow and ice has wiped Thursday's slate nearly clean, but the Athens girls game against NTL Large School-leading Troy will be played.

GIRLS BASKETBALL
Troy (15-4) at Athens (14-6), 6 p.m. JV start: The Wildcats are coming off a 47-40 win over NP-Mansfield, while the Trojans topped Towanda 69-28.

In their first meeting, Troy rolled to a 57-27 win.

Sayre at NEB: Re-scheduled for Friday.
