COLLEGE WRESTLING: ATHENS GRAD BRADLEY RACKS UP 100TH CAREER WIN AT CASTLETON (2025-02-07)

CASTLETON, Vt. — Athens grad Gavin Bradley, a junior at Castleton University, ranked sixth in the nation, recently racked up 100th career win, and did it in style with a 52-second pin.

Bradley, who is ranked 5th in the nation at 125 pounds, went 3-0 at the Little East Conference Quad meet at Plymouth State College.

In his first match, Bradley scored a 5-4 win over Rhode Island College's Fred Lych to give Castleton a 3-0 lead on its way to a 39-2 win.

In a 46-10 win over Plymouth State, Bradley started the match with a pin of Brody McDonald in 2:46.

He picked up his milestone win with a 52-second fall over Sothern Maine's Noah Krysztofiak to give Castleton a 6-0 lead on its way to a 40-8.

Since then, Bradley scored a 40-second fall over Western New England's in Castleton's 48-0 win.

Bradley won a 10-1 major decision over the Coast Guar Academy's Neat Beaton in Castleton's 24-11 win.

In a 24-12 loss to fourth-ranked Johnson & Wales, Bradley lost via fall in 6:39 to top-ranked Josiah Fry.

On Saturday, Bradley scored a 9-0 major decision over Trinity College's Alexander Schaeublini in Castleon's 49-0 win.

On the season, Bradley has a season-high 29 wins against just five losses. He has a team-best 15-3 mark in dual meets.

He has collected three major decision, three technical falls, and 14 falls, his fastest coming in 40 seconds.

For his career, Bradley is 104-20 with 41 pins and 13 technical falls. He is 39-8 in duals.

As a freshman, Bradley was 37-11, including an 8-2 mark, with four technical falls and 14 pins.

Last year, Bradley was 38-6, including a 16-3 dual mark, with six technical falls and 13 pins. He finished seventh in the nation at the NCAA Division III championships.

This weekend's Johnson & Wales Quad meet has been canceled. Castleton returns to action next Friday in a dual at Williams College.
