SECTION IV WRESTLING: McKEE, DUNCANSON LEAD TIOGA CONTINGENT INTO DIVISION 2 CHAMPIONSHIPS (2025-02-15)

BINGHAMTON — Tioga had two top seeds in sophomore Declan McKee and junior Jayden Duncanson, and two 3-seeds here Sunday at the Section IV, Division 2 Wrestling Championships at the Broome County Arena.

Junior Logan Bellis and senior Tate MaCauley are 3-seeds, while f reshman Mark McCane is a sixth seed, sophomore James Howey is an eighth seed, and 8th-grader Parker Jackson is a ninth seed.

McKee (27-3) is the top seed at 101 pounds. He will face the winner of the opening-round match between 8th-seeded Colton Hurlburt (9-13) of BGAH and 9th-seeded Kenny Slater (15-17) of Newark Valley in the quarterfinals.

Duncanson (35-2) is the top seed at 138 pounds. He will face the winner of the opening-round match between 8th-seeded. Gavin Canedo (20-14) of Deposit-Hancock and 9th-seeded Liam McQuade (17-15) of Maine-Endwell in the quarterfinals.

Bellis (25-5) is the third seed at 124 pounds. He will face the winner of the opening-round match between 6th-seeded Jason Canedo (23-6) of Deposit-Hancock and 11th-seeded Amari Chapmen (11-9) of Oneonta in the quarterfinals.

MaCauley (19-12) is the third seed at 215 pounds. He will face the winner of the opening-round match between 6th-seeded Patrick Croft (15-8) of Schuyler and 11th-seeded Aiden Howard (10-10) of Susquehanna Valley in the quarterfinals.

Freshman Mark McCane (21-12) is the sixth seed at 285 pounds. He will face 11th-seeded Anthony Neumuth (5-15) of Owego in the opening round.

Sophomore James Howey (17-5) is the eighth seed at 190 pounds, and will face 9th-seeded Lucas Weaver (18-20) of Oneonta in the opening round.

Parker Jackson (16-13) is the ninth seed at 108 pounds, and will face 8th-seeded Colton Ryan (11-11) of BGAH in the opening round.
