Valley Sports ReportTHE VALLEY — The District 4 basketball playoffs tip off Wednesday night with Sayre hosting a postseason game for the first time in years.

Class AA Quarterfinals
5-Line Mountain (12-10) at 4-Sayre (14-8), 7 p.m.: The Redskins are coming off a 55-46 home loss to Northeast Bradford, which cost them the 3-seed, while the Eagles topped Williams Valley, 64-58.
Sayre lost five of its last seven regular-season games, while Line Mountain won six of its final eight.
The winner will face the winner of the game between top-seeded Northwest Area (19-3) and eighth-seeded East Juniata (6-16).
BOYS SWIMMING
Section IV, Class B Prelims, 5 p.m. @ M-E: Waverly junior Finn Williams, and freshman Ramey Grazette will be in action this afternoon.
