THE VALLEY — Five of Wednesday's six events are in the Valley, including two baseball games, two golf matches — both at Shepard Hills — and one softball game.

BASEBALL
Marathon at Tioga (3-0), 4:30 p.m.: The Tigers are coming off a 6-5 win over Southern Cayuga.

Chenango Valley (4-1) at Waverly (3-3), 5 p.m.: The Wolverines are coming off a 5-1 loss to Chenango Valley Monday.

SOFTBALL
Marathon at Tioga (4-0), 4:30 p.m.: The Tigers are coming off a 6-4 win over Southern Cayuga.

FLAG FOOTBALL
Waverly (2-2) at Johnson City (1-3), 7 p.m.: The Wolverines are coming off a 45-0 win over Chenango Valley on April 5, while the Wildcats topped CV, 31-6, Saturday.

GIRLS GOLF
Waverly (3-0), Corning vs. S-VE, 10 a.m. @ Shepard Hills: Senior Breanne Robinson and junior Addison Hunt each have a low-medal honors in the Wolverines first two matches, which resulted in three wins.

BOYS GOLF
Tioga (1-2) vs. S-VE, 3:30 p.m. @ Shepard Hills:  Tioga is coming off a 2-stroke win over S-VE last week.
