Valley Sports ReportWAVERLY — Waverly shots its poorest round of the young season, but still improved to 4-1 with a 214-248 win over S-VE here Wednesday afternoon in Section IV girls golf action at The Club at Shepard Hills.
S-VE's Lauren Gillett earned low-medal honors with a 48, but was the only Panther to shoot lower than 64.
Senior Breanne Robinson led Waverly with a 52, while junior Addison Hunt and senior Lauryn DeLill each shot rounds of 53, and junior Sophia Sileo added a 56.
Freshman Emilia Mitchell tacked on a non-scoring round of 62.
Waverly, now 4-1, returns to action Friday against Notre Dame and Horseheads at Soaring Eagles Golf Course.
