Valley Sports ReportWYALUSING — Senior Marco Quiros had a trio of top-three finishes, and senior Rose Shikanga recorded Sayre's only other place-finish here Friday at the annual Lasagna Track & Field Invitational.
Quiros won the 400-meter dash in a time of 50.51 seconds, and placed second in the 200-meter dash in a time of 23.18 seconds.
Quiros finished third in the 100-meter dash in a time of 11.26 seconds
Shikanga finished third in the 100-meter hurdles in a time of 16.02 seconds. Shikanga finished 20th in the 300-meter hurdles in 55.66 seconds.
Junior Emma Cole finished 10th in the discus with a toss of 91-feet, 10-inches.
Sophomore Hudson Malanoski finished 14th in the shot put with a heave of 40-feet, 1 1/2-inches.
