ATHENS LITTLE LEAGUE BASEBALL (MAJORS): COLDWELL BANKER WINS FIRST FIVE GAMES OF 2025 SEASON (2025-05-02)

ATHENS — Coldwell Banker has won five in a row, including a pair of one-run-wins to start the 2025 Athens Little League Majors Division baseball season.

Coldwell Banker 5, I-R FCU 4
On April 21, Coldwell Banker led 4-0 after two innings, but needed a run in the bottom of the fifth inning to pull out a season-opening, 5-4, win over the Ingersoll-Rand Federal Credit Union.

Brady Shores fanned seven and walked six in 2 1/3 innings of no-hit ball. He allowed three runs, but only one was earned. Calvin Mosher relieved, and allowed one run on two hits with two strikeouts and two walks in 1 2/3 innings.

Ethan Glielmi earned the win, allowing one hit in two shutout innings, with three strikeouts and one walk.

Glielmi singled and scored two runs, and Fin Johnson singled and scored one run to account for Coldwell Banker's two hits in the game, and Shores and Ryder Voorhees each scored one run.
 
Coldwell Banker 11, NTLL Majors 1
Coldwell Banker scored in every inning on its way to an 11-1 win over NTLL on April 23.

Rowan Morales earned the win, allowing one unearned run on two hits, while striking out nine and walking two in four innings. Luke Shores finished off the game with a scoreless inning of relief, striking out three and walking three.

Glielmi had three hits, including a double, two runs scored, and three RBI, and Johnson doubled and singled, scored two runs, and drove in one run to pace Coldwell Banker's seven-hit attack.

Brady Shores singled, scored two runs, and drove in one run in the win, while Morales singled and scored three runs, and Eli Leavenworth and Tucker Owens each crossed the plate once.

Coldwell Banker 3, Jay's Carpet 2
Brady Shores and Glielmi combined on a no-hitter, and Coldwell Banker scored a run in the top of the fifth inning to pull out a 3-2 win over Jay's Carpet on April 25.

Brady Shores allowed two earned runs on four walks, while striking out seven in three innings, while Glielmi earned the win, striking out eight and walking three in three innings of relief.

Glielmi doubled for the only hit of the game, scored one run, and drove in one, while Voorhees drove in one run, and Morales and Aiden McConnell each crossed the plate once.

Coldwell Banker 15, Towanda-Wickwire 3

Coldwell Banker plated seven runs in two different innings on its way to a 15-3 four-inning win over Towanda-Wickwire on Monday.

Jace Smith singled twice, scored two runs, and had two RBI, while Glielmi tripled, scored three runs, and drove in two runs, Brady Shores singled, scored two runs, and drove in one run, and Voorhees singled and knocked in one run to account for Coldwell Banker's five hits.

McConnell scored one run and had two RBI in the win, while Leavenworth scored two runs, Johnson, Aaron Folkers and Mosher each scored one run and drove in one run, Luke Shores scored one run, and Tucker Owens drove in one run.

Morales earned the win, allowing two runs on five hits, while striking out six and walking one in three innings. Mosher fanned four and walked one in an inning of scoreless relief.

Coldwell Banker 7, Towanda-Rick 4

On Wednesday, Coldwell Banker scored two runs in the top of the first inning and led wire-to-wire in a hard-fought 7-4 win over Towanda-Rick.

Brady Shores was 3-for-3 with a double, three runs scored, and one RBI to account for all of Coldwell Banker's hits, while Morales and McConnell each scored two runs, and Glielmi had one RBI.

Glielmi started on the mound, allowing three runs — all unearned — on three hits, while striking out seven and walking three in 2 2/3 innings. Mosher allowed one unearned run on three walks, with one strikeout in one inning of relief.

Brady Shores earned the win, fanning five in 2 1/3 innings of perfect relief.

Coldwell Banker returns to action Monday when it hosts Sayre Blue.
