Valley Sports ReportTHE VALLEY — Mother Nature does it again.
It's been a wet spring with a host of postponements caused by rain, storms, and wet fields. Friday is turning into more of the same.
The rain has already caused the postponement of the following events:
• Tioga's home baseball and softball games against Newark Valley have been postponed, and rescheduled for Wednesday.
• Tioga's boys golf match against O-M at the Watkins Glen Golf Course has been postponed.
• Waverly's softball game at Owego has been postponed, and re-scheduled for Thursday.
• The Athens baseball game at Selinsgrove has also been rained out.
The only things remaining on the schedule for Friday and the NTL Track & Field Championships at Athens, and the Hornell Invitational, which includes Waverly.
